Attend an info session. Visit with alumni. Talk to our staff.
We hold informal information meetings on Fridays from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Journalism School. Meetings are conducted in a small group setting and cover an overview of the school, programs and admission. We strongly urge you to RSVP for these sessions.
We host three information sessions on campus during the fall. All sessions have concluded and are available for viewing on our YouTube page in the Admissions section.
Meet With an Admissions Officer
If you are not able to attend one of our sessions, you may contact the admissions office to set up an individual appointment, which can be done in person, by telephone or via Skype. An informational interview generally runs 15 to 20 minutes and is an opportunity for you to meet with us one‐on‐one to go over your questions and concerns. Note: these meetings are not required and hold no weight in the admission process.
J-School in Your Area
Find Us on the Road
Meet with a member of the admissions staff when we recruit around the country and internationally at graduate school fairs and professional association conventions. These sessions provide an opportunity to learn more about our programs and admissions process. See events listings for when we might be in your area.
Alumni Meet and Greets
We invite you to come and meet alumni in your area. Learn about our programs, admissions and a career in journalism in a casual setting. Prospective students can sign up and stay connected with us to receive invitations.
