July 03, 2023

Dear CJS Community:

As you have likely heard, the Supreme Court has issued its ruling regarding affirmative action. I am sharing with you the university's statement regarding the decision. While this ruling may change the ways we work to foster diversity in every aspect of our institution, we remain committed to this pursuit in every way legally possible. We will be in contact in the coming weeks and months as the implications of the ruling become more legible. As always, we look forward to a productive dialogue on the path forward.
