The Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University won the 2024 Individual Episodes News & Politics award for their “War & Speech” episode, “The Crisis at Columbia,” featuring Dean Jelani Cobb.
Audie Cornish, host of the2024 duPont-Columbia Awards, won Best Host for “The Assignment with Audie Cornish.”
Catherine Fenollosa, '03 M.S., Producer at Rococo Punch, won gold in Weird for “Creature Preacher.”
Maria Garcia, '17 M.A. Arts & Culture, Executive Editor and Producer for Futuro Studios, won Most Inspirational Podcast for “Stars and Stars with Isa.”
David Gura, '07 M.S., Host of Bloomberg's “Big Take,” won gold in News & Politics.
Karen Ho, '17 M.A. Business & Economics, Sr. Social Media Specialist for PBS Nature, won gold for “Going Wild with Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant” in two categories: Education and Best Conversation Starter.
Tariro Mzezewa, '15 M.S., Host of “Peak Travel,” won Best New Podcast.
Julia Natt, 2019 Columbia Publishing Course alumna and Associate Producer at Magnificent Noise, won Most Inspirational Podcast for “Where Should We Begin? with Esther Perel.”
Kara Swisher, '85 M.S., won Best Host (Current Events) for “On with Kara Swisher.”
