Columbia's Institute for Latin American Studies and Columbia Journalism School will host Venezuela at the Crossroads, a timely conversation with Boris Muñoz, Journalist and Maria Moors Cabot Prize winner, and Dorothy Kronick, Associate Professor of Public Policy at the Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley, moderated by Roberto Patiño, ILAS Visiting Scholar, on the country’s ongoing struggle for democracy. 

The discussion will explore Venezuela’s political and economic crisis, human rights, and the significance of María Corina Machado’s Nobel Peace Prize.
