Professor Helen Benedict, author of Map of Hope and Sorrow: Stories of Refugees Trapped in Greece, has a new novel coming out on April 9 based on the same research, The Good Deed. She and Professor Nina Berman will discuss the novel, the ethics of telling refugee stories in various forms, and the uneasy territory between altruism and arrogance. April 15, 5-6 p.m. Room 607B.
