Shooting the World of Tomorrow

Join Reporters Without Borders (RSF) and Columbia Journalism School on Wednesday, November 18, for the closing reception of Shooting the World of Tomorrow, an international photography exhibition celebrating RSF's 40th anniversary.

Bringing together the perspectives of 40 photographers from around the world, the exhibition is a visual manifesto exploring three defining challenges of our time: the environment, exile, and crises. Through powerful images of climate disruption, forced displacement, and conflict, it underscores the vital importance of independent journalism and those who risk their lives to document our world.

As the exhibition draws to a close, join us for an evening of photography, film, and conversation about press freedom and photojournalism. The evening will feature a screening of The Case of Maks Levin - Anatomy of an Execution, a documentary investigating the killing of Ukrainian photojournalist Maks Levin during Russia's invasion of Ukraine and highlighting the dangers faced by journalists covering armed conflict.

A networking reception will follow. Registration required.
