Build a Welcoming Network with the Graduate Initiative

September 26, 2024
5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
America/New_York
Kent Hall, 1140 Amsterdam Ave., New York, NY 10027 CVTI - Room 205

University Life invites BIPOC and first-generation graduate students from all programs and fields of studies, along with allies, to come network and meet fellow students at this welcome event and reception. Make connections, learn about upcoming opportunities with the Graduate Initiative for Inclusion and Engagement, and chat about the transitions you’re navigating so far this academic year.

Light refreshments will be provided. Headshots will be available throughout the event on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registering via Bedeworks does not guarantee you a headshot. Limited spots available. Students that register here will be sent information on how to secure a slot closer to the event.

The Graduate Initiative for Inclusion and Engagement is part of Columbia’s commitment to diversity and the success of all graduate and professional school students. This initiative was designed with the needs of students from historically marginalized communities in mind, including BIPOC and first-generation students. All students are welcome.

Space is limited. Please cancel your registration, if you are no longer able to attend, so others can enjoy this event.
