What are Sequences?

Sequences are curated sets of courses designed to deepen student skill and knowledge in key journalism areas — from climate and immigration reporting to podcasting, photography and sports.

Open to all general M.S. students, Sequences offer a flexible alternative to traditional specializations, allowing tailored learning without additional application steps.

How It Works

Students choose from recommended courses that fit their interests and goals. Most Sequences don’t require a separate application. Students decide their level of engagement, from taking a few courses to a full reporting focus.
