Jonathan Stray

Jonathan Stray is a computational journalist, and teaches the dual masters degree in computer science and journalism. He leads the development of Workbench, an integrated tool for data journalism, and previously built Overview, a document mining platform for investigative journalism. He’s contributed to The New York Times, The Atlantic, Wired, Foreign Policy and ProPublica. He was formerly the Interactive Technology Editor at the Associated Press, a freelance reporter in Hong Kong, and a graphics algorithm designer for Adobe Systems. His book The Curious Journalist's Guide To Data is widely used in data journalism education.
