Jake Pearson is an award-winning reporter with the investigative non-profit news organization ProPublica, where he's currently covering the business interests of Trump family members and administration figures. Before joining ProPublica last fall, Jake spent more than five years at The Associated Press, where he exposed in-custody deaths and abuse inside New York City's jail system before joining the newswire's investigative team after the 2016 presidential election. Jake has also worked for NBC News, the New York Daily News and he has written for Wired Magazine. He is an alumnus of Columbia Journalism School and Tufts University.
