Andrew Glazer is a video and print journalist who has reported from more than a dozen countries. He currently oversees The New York Times enterprise video unit. Most recently, he was senior producer on the team that launched VICE News. At VICE, he produced long-form international and investigative video reports, and led teams covering Israel’s 2014 war in Gaza; the 2016 Presidential Primaries; the Oregon standoff and the recent surge of tensions in Jerusalem and the West Bank. Glazer was an investigative producer for Dan Rather Reports, a weekly news magazine that aired on cable television. He’s been nominated for three Emmys and won in 2010 for an investigation into Iranian money-laundering and sanctions evasion. In 2006, Glazer was awarded a six-month Fulbright fellowship to teach journalism in Bolivia. He started his career in newspapers, with staff reporting positions at The Los Angeles TImes, the Herald News, The Record of Bergen County and for the Associated Press in Los Angeles. He graduated from the Journalism School in 1999 and lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two children.
