Allan Maraynes is a documentary filmmaker, investigative journalist, television producer and writer with four decades of experience at the networks.  He spent the better part of a decade at “60 Minutes” producing stories for Mike Wallace and Ed Bradley including the first network investigations into the Ford Pinto and the Church of Scientology.  

Maraynes also served as Senior Investigative Producer at “ABC 20/20” and then at “Dateline NBC.”  He is the winner of multiple awards for his work, including two Alfred I DuPont-Columbia awards, 16 Emmys, three Peabody awards, seven Edward R. Murrow Awards ,  two Overseas Press Club of America awards,  the Sigma Delta Chi,  the Polk and a Gracie.  

He is currently developing documentary projects and pilots for television.  Maraynes has a B.A. in Mass Communications and Theatre from Queens College and an M.A. in Film and Television from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
