The founding editor-in-chief of Russia's only independent news TV-channel, Dozhd/TVRain, Mikhail will delve into topics including misinformation, opposition journalism, and the deep-seated origins of the war in Ukraine as part of The Hub's Business AI and Democracy (BAID) initiative. This session, moderated by Columbia Business School Professor Andrey Simonov, will explore the impact of media, misinformation, government regulation, and emerging technologies on democracy in today's challenging global landscape.
